ALERTS
The ALERTS (Aircraft Logging and Event Recording for Training and Safety) system is a Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) application. This very unique solution is designed to be used in legacy fixed and rotary wing aircraft as part of a FOQA program. FOQA programs and Helicopter Operations Monitoring Programs (HOMP) can identify potentially problematic events or trends across any number of aircraft and have been proven to save aircraft operators significant amounts of money while also greatly increasing the safety of their operations.
The ALERTS system is a turnkey solution for a problem that has plagued aviation for years. Where Flight Data Recorders (FDR) have traditionally cost an enormous amount of money and have been restricted to aircraft large enough to shrug off their significant weight and size, ALERTS stands out with a data capture device (GAU 2000) that weighs just over two pounds and is barely larger than a paperback novel. No longer is FOQA limited to large, heavy ships – ALERTS can fit on even the smallest aircraft in the sky.
ALERTS software is just as revolutionary as the hardware. Our innovative solution couples an easy-to-use web based analysis tool (AS Web Analyzer) and our sophisticated 3D playback software (AS Flight Analysis), giving FOQA analysts the tools to identify potentially dangerous events and trends without the costly IT infrastructure associated with other FOQA programs. Because all the flight data is analyzed and stored by our servers, a single analyst with a personal computer can manage even a large fleet of aircraft.

Just Announced: Appareo Systems and the Eurocopter Group have recently unveiled the jointly developed ALERTS Vision 1000. The Vision 1000 combines flight data logging, high-resolution cockpit imagery and ambient audio acquisition into one small, lightweight package weighing less than 250 grams (.55 pounds).
