ED-155, Lightweight Modular Flight Data Device

The GAU 3000 builds upon Appareo Systems' earlier successes in lightweight, low-cost data logging equipment by offering a modular, expandable Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) solution for operators of light aircraft.

Relying on the same proven inertial sensing and GPS technologies used in Appareo's other FDM equipment, the GAU 3000 adds significant value by interfacing with other avionics using ARINC 429 outputs. This will allow future integration with radar altimeters, glass cockpit units and many other systems. Additionally, data transfer for Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) programs is simplified and streamlined by the optional wireless data transfer module.

The GAU 3000 provides reliable, expandable performance in a lightweight, affordable package perfect for any operator. The only modular light recorder on the market.

ED-155 Compliant - The GAU 3000 complies with ED-155 guidelines and is one of the lightest recorders available.

ARINC 429 - The GAU 3000 accepts multiple ARINC 429 inputs from aircraft with digital infrastructure, allowing the capture of many additional flight and performance parameters.
